Some new photos of The Suicide Squad have appeared online and may indicate the arrival of a certain DC Comics villain named Bane. Admittedly, to get from the photos to Bane, the dots have to be connected and maybe a little speculated about the speculation with aluminum foil hats. Given the recent findings from director James Gunn, however, we cannot say that this is impossible.
The photos in question appeared on social media when the DC adaptation was being shot in Panama. We recently took our first look at Margot Robbie's new Harley Quinn look from the same location. Thanks to some viewers who shared the pictures on Twitter, several photos of a red, yellow and blue flag used on the set were also revealed. The flag could mean that the suicide squad will take us to Santa Prisca, a fictional location within the DC universe.

Fans of the Batman tradition may know that Santa Prisca is coincidental is home to Pena Duro, the prison where Bane comes from, on the DC Comics website. The prison is in the fictional Caribbean nation. Bane was born in this prison and grew up there. There he is also enthusiastic about the drug Venom. Well, this flag can only be an Easter egg. It is possible that James Gunn wrote Santa Prisca as the location of the script and has no intention of folding Bane or even mentioning Pera Duro. At the same time, it is just sufficient to place this in the area of reasonable speculation. Granted, it's a bit far-reaching, but it's possible.
Another option that DC fans have suggested is that this could point to the Koba cult, a darker group of villains who could serve as opponents of Task Force X , What we do know for sure is that Dave Bautista, who is close friends with James Gunn and previously worked with him on the films Guardians of the Galaxy expressed his desire to play Bane. However, he revealed that he also had to give up a DC role, and he is said to have been at one point or another in discussions for The Suicide Squad . So don't hope for a Bautista curse.
This film will serve as a sequel to the 2016 suicide squad of but it was billed as a restart rather than a sequel. The details of the plot remain secret, but the cast includes Idris Elba, John Cena, Pete Davidson, Taika Waititi, Nathan Fillion, Peter Capaldi and Michael Rooker with Viola Davis (Amanda Waller), Joel Kinnaman (Rick Flag) and Jai Courtney ( Captain) boomerang) returns. The suicide squad is slated for release on August 6, 2021. Be sure to check out the set photos from the DCVERSO Twitter account and speculate.
